Kalmar in situ
A selection of my photos from the lovely city of Kalmar. Kalmar is situated on the shores of Kalmar Strait, a narrow stretch of water between the swedish mainland and the island of Öland. Kalmar offers a wide variety of activities and locations to photograph and is a beautiful place to visit all year round.

Sydostpassagen
Not many people know that the Baltic Sea is a dive site like no other. During hundreds of years Sweden waged war against Denmark and the depths of the coast of Småland is littered with wrecks. The Baltic Sea is unique due to the lack of shipworm. Most of the wrecks are therefore preserved. The project Sydostpassagen (south-east passage) is a project to strengthen the region as a dive destination. I was tasked to create a visual identity, exhibition materials and even a movie poster for the project. The exhibition was shown in the "maiden tower" of Borgholms Slott during the summer of 2015 and will later be used as a mobile exhibition.

Logotype design
The city Borgholm, is named after the castle on the brink just above the city. The city was founded as a city in 1816. The original empire style city plan is preserved today along with a lot of houses from that period. The empire style city plan is very unusual in Sweden since not that many cities were founded in the 19th century. In 2016 the city celebrates its 200-year anniversary and I was asked to design a logotype for the event. My idea was to celebrate the unique city plan and incorporate it into the logo. I was inspired by Josef Frank’s classic textilepattern “Manhattan”. I created this logo but unfortunately the client decided to go in a different direction.

Wetlands in Borgholm municipality
The purpose of this project was to market one of the largest environmental project in Borgholm Municipality in recent years, "the Borgholm Municipality wetland project". The ambitious project aims to restore 300 hectares of wetlands in order to reduce the over-fertilization of the Baltic Sea. The final product, an illustrated booklet, was distributed to both local and national politicians, in order to secure future funding.

The Island of Öland
This is my home. The Island of Öland just off the coast of Småland. Öland is rich in contrast i many ways. From roaring winter storms over the limestone grassland to buzzling summer days and long sandy beaches.

Brewnion, Ängö Kvartersbryggeri
In this project I created the artwork for a beer bottle. The negative-space-design was screenprinted directly on the bottle. Kalmar based brewery "Ängö Kvartersbryggeri" hosted the brewing of this limited edition beer. A hop-heavy Belgian Quad.
